What a great way to recycle old wine crates. These were featured on moderncat a few days ago and I thought them perfect for the wine loving pet lovers amongst us.

I really love these photographs done by Portland based photographer Elizabeth Soule. They have a certain enchantment and a fairytale quality about them. I have shown just a few, but there are many more to enjoy on her website. I think the zebra wins the prize for cuteness.

Whiskey anyone?

He's a picture of Whiskey who was orphaned when his owner passed away and left him suffering from a nasty infection from an unhealed operation scar. The Blanket Fund was able to cover the cost for Whiskey to receive a costly antibiotic injection that put him back on his feet. Whiskey's now making the most of his stay with vpas while he waits for his new owner to find him - can you help?
