Waifs and Strays

Luxury in leather from Waifs and Strays. Just think of everything from your pet's collar, bed, treat bag and bowl all crafted in luxury leather.
These high quality ceramic bowls are bite resistant (do dogs actually chew ceramic?) they're obviously hygenic, and heavy enough to keep them stable. Don't you think they sit so elegantly in these leather holders? They come in two sizes and can sit on a feeding mat that makes them even more posh!

These collars include brass fixtures and are made from top quality leather that has under gone rigorous testing to ensure that they stand up to a good measure of rough and tumble. Get a load of the treat bags that have been made using the same care and attention to detail.

Eco-friendly style for your pup... that's Eco-pup!

We have a ton of bamboo growing all around our property that just started off with one little twig that has turned into almost a bamboo forest ! We all know the virtues of sustainable bamboo, it's really quite fascinating stuff and it grows so fast that you can almost watch it. There are so many bamboo products these days and you can see why when you look in my garden! It grows in next to nothing soil, sprouts up through the decking, comes out through rocks and its just incredibly hardy stuff.
So, all of us probably have more than one bamboo item, from chopping boards to bowls to utensils and clothes, but what about a little sustainability for your pup requisites?
Eco pup takes care of that for you and makes the most cutest of clothing with not a whiff of synthetics in sight. Even when they don't use bamboo they use recycled fabric or organic cotton! Everthing they do is eco- friendly, even down to a snazzy poop bag holder! They are a great example to us all. And for those of us suffering a little carbon footprint guilt, there's no better time to make sustainable amends - get to eco-pup and enjoy their fabulous sale with 20% off certain styles until August 16th.

It's really not difficult to understand why Eco pup is so popular, and for more info take a look at another post earlier this week on Of Cows' Tails and Chew Toys. Its author, Ashley, knows a thing or two about recycled clothing have a read here

Our pet obsession

Our pets, and we love 'em, make their way into every aspect of our lives! They become a magnet for our unconditional love, and they love us back with total transparency. Suddenly, you notice that everything you own carries their image in some form. The stuff I've featured today could all be part of a pet lover's picnic, I just need to find the cheese!

Cutting boards from Sleek Identity have been created out of sturdy but beautiful acacia wood and come in six different designs

Wine labels are now far more interesting in a wine store than the wine themselves and the Australian Teusner  Vineyard in the Barossa valley decided to create a cat label for their 2008 Shiraz to pop out on the shelves.

Cute little cutlery set from The Straight stitch are made with unique, vintage and reclaimed fabrics.

Found these on Dieline and the design is by Alexis Killam for a speciality pet bakery (unfortunately, couldn't find out who for) who cook up recipes in the store and then sell in these great packages! Love the names, so much like home for me!
Handmade in porcelain, this dog bowl is from Me Me Me

Remember, there's nothing wrong about being obsessed with pets, there's nothing wrong about being obsessed with pets, there's nothing wrong about being obsessed with pets.
