Celebration: Olympics and Valentines

This is the weekend for celebration and love. If you happen to be in the area pay a visit to the See Ya Later Ranch winery in the Okanagan region of BC.
The winery has a great  history of caring for dogs- read the story behind the label here whilst enjoying a bottle or two of their delicious wine!

Visitors will enjoy See Ya Later Ranch vintages “soul-mated” with a palate pleasing morsel created by Chef Roger Planiden .This event is being hosted for Valentines Day together with the Okanagan branch of the BCSPCA.  I don't want to admit that I judge a wine by it's label, but I saw these wine tags from Papermash via a tweet from DownandoutChic and found them so perfect!

I was trying hard today to do a serious post, but Hot Digital Dog got the better of me. I have had these in a file for a while and they have been fighting to escape. The artist is an animal lover and visits animal shelters once a week to take photos of adoptable animals for the newspaper. Some of those animals are seen here, but only the ones that were eventually adopted.

What is it about Scotty Dogs that makes them so adorable? Take a look at these valentine cards by Nearly Midnight. What cute faces! Now, I think these cards have done the rounds a bit but you can never get enough of a good thing!

I also love  this 'Cute as a button' card from Present and Correct. I saw it on Wee Birdy the other day and really liked it's simplicity. None of that over the top cuteness and not a heart in sight!
