All of a twitter

It's been so sunny here on the west coast recently and so unseasonably warm, you could imagine seeing tropical birds flying around. Okay, that's a bit 'letting my imagination run wild' moment but have a look at these little dickies.
I found them on the wonderful french blog Oh my cat and they are, or at least some of them, cat toys full of catnip and other nice stuff that is kind to your kitty. You can find a great selection of them on Oh my eye, and I noticed that some them function as bird mobiles, which in my house means they'll quite possibly end up being a cat toy!

Eye Candy

I discovered these when going through one of my favourite places, Liberty of London. They have introduced Swash scarves into their famous scarf hall and boy oh boy...

Swash is a company created by UK couple Sarah Swash and boyfriend Toshio Yamanaka who, inspired by the surroundings of their East London studio, create designs for the most decadent of scarves. Also included in their designs, the couple's Whippet, Candy, who is by far the chicest dog in town. It's almost hard to spot her here, but she obviously lives in the lap of luxury and thrilled to be there!
I'm sure all of this is overwhelming to see in store, but you will get a good look at the designs here
Now in the spirit of London Fashion week I just had to include these doggie cufflinks from  Paul Smith what dog loving guy wouldn't want these?

Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve :-)

The King and I

It was so nice to receive this from the Victoria branch of the SPCA yesterday. We are so pleased that we are able to help and hope this encourages others to do the same.

"The funds donated by blanketID, have helped Musashi and other animals that need medical treatment. It would be a very sad fate for the sick and injured animals if we didn’t have the financial support of donors and companies such as blanketID".

So, we would like to introduce you to our latest animals in need. This adorable little bundle, Musashi, was adopted in November, but was returned to the SPCA after developing a corneal ulcer. After successful treatment Musashi is recovering at the SPCA. Like the script of a Disney movie, during her ordeal Musashi has developed a deep friendship with another cat, Mowgli, who usually doesn't like other cats but tends to rule the roost at the shelter. He has become affectionately known as 'The King' and together they are the shelter's power couple.

Both beautiful cats are now ready for a permanent home and it would be a great end to this movie if they were able to stay together and begin a new and more settled chapter in their adventures. Please contact the SPCA if you can help.

…And now I'm eating my breakfast with a smile.
