A"charmed" life?

I'm in love with Holly and Lil from the UK. Their selection of handmade collars for dogs and cats are stunning, from the boho range to the semi-precious thay are the most fancy-pants of collars I have seen! There are so many wonderful images on their site and I have shown the more glitzy range here, but take a look I'm sure you will be as smitten as I am.

So each collar can be any colour, size, level of activity and theme and some are just full of semi precious stones, charms or bells. They don't stop there though, there is also a wide range of leather collars and harnesses. Battersea dogs home and the Mayhew animal shelter have had collars done with donations made from each sale going to the shelter.

Ooooh! I want to kit the cats out...I really, really do (as long as there's room for a blanketID tag of course)

Worthy Wednesday

It's really not at all hard to find content for this 'worthy wednesday' feature. I just love that people are recycling stuff and creating such innovative products for pets. So, this is Green belts giving old belts a future. Yes, each collar is crafted from an old belt and most of the decorations are made from recycled bits too! Another great way to use up old stuff and make your dog look super smart.

Safety First

No, not superhero costumes or jet packs, but instead some earthquake protection for your pets.
Although, I'm sure this cat could easily be a super hero and is thinking about rescuing people from the rubble already

Now, I think these have been around a while, but I was reminded while I was looking on Katzenblog just how much I need these. We are constantly told (living in an earthquake zone) that we need to have a kit just in case. It is always seems to be one of those things you will do later, but I often wonder what would happen to the little poopers. I always have their carriers close to hand, but by the list of stuff you get with the pet kit it would do for all of us. These kits are made in Japan and include a whistle, cookies, a mini radio, silicone gloves, aroma oil...is this list getting a little more weird and what are those red balloon things in the picture? I'm hoping they are paw boots! Hey wait a minute - a mini radio?..how do you use that with no thumbs?
