Canine Chic
There was a great article in yesterdays 'Independant' by Judith Watt on her new book 'Dogs in Vogue: A century of Canine Chic' due to be published next week. It's all about dogs being the ultimate fashion accessory through the years and of course, mans best friend. The article is full of excellent stylish pictures from back issues of Vogue. Here are just a few... can't wait to get the book! Problem is, now I can't decide whether to get a new handbag or a dog! :-)

Lost pets
I found that I just love the different emotions these pictures generate. Don't you get an almost haunting feeling from the first picture? The rest give me a strange sense of a dog lost in the picture and looking for a way out. All way more intersting than the usual animal portrait. I found this article on Max Miller in this months 'Bark magazine' and could gaze at them for ages.

The weird and the beautiful
This weekend we attended an amazing show featuring some utterly lovable examples of purebred cats. You have to admire the love and devotion that these breeders have for their cats. I really believe that some of the cats enjoy the show almost as much as their owners.
Here are just a few of my favourites:-

Here are just a few of my favourites:-
the incredible markings of the sleek Bengal
extremely naughty and playful Abyssinians
They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and these guys have a strange attractiveness about them
