Plaid, blankets...plaid blankets, plaid everything

Okay, so everyone knows there's huge amounts of plaid designs spilling over into all sorts of stuff this season. There are winter blankets (being the norm), clothes, bags etc and of course this has gone over into the pet world. Lucky for us it's part of blanketID's branding and we even have a couple of  tags in plaid! First up are some pet beds that look so cozy (I actually think I had some PJ'S in the same fabric)!

The super beautiful blanket below is from Eleanor Pritchard and is 100% wool. Would you let your pet sleep on it is the question...I think so - as long as I was under it !

I can't wait to get hold of a copy of this new book by Catherine Ledner that was released in September. I'm sure you must all have seen at least some of the pictures. This book like her other 'Animal House' uses luxurious surroundings to photograph pampered pets in creative poses. Here are just a few that I loved,  for the wallpaper alone!

On the subject of glamour dogs, what could possibly glam-up a dog collar more than these lovely flowers from the etsy shop of Bow wow couture?  Heaps to choose from in different sizes depending on the size of your dog. Love 'em! I might just get some for Poppet and Milly...I think you could put them on cats too, couldn't you?

We were fortunate yesterday to appear on C-Fax 1070 'Petline' hosted by Coreen Mae and join Penny Stone from the SPCA here in Victoria to discuss the topic of lost pets and blanketID tags. What a great live show and fabulous exposure for blanket. Hits at blanketid are at their highest ever and we received lots more online orders in the hours following the show! Stuffed animals

I have found so much wonderful  stuff on etsy lately that I think I will make no excuses for featuring lots of it this week. Check out these stuffed drawings by Patti Haskins. The idea is refreshingly unusual and the fabrics used are bold and striking.

These charming little characters are from kawaiitoy. I think if I had these I couldn't resist squeezing them. Don't you think they look like they're modeling bathing suits for cats
