Why am I so drawn to these kind of images? Is it because they are so clever? Or is it because they make me giggle or maybe they just remind me of people I know. One thing I know is that it would be disturbing to see Milly and Poppet that way!

I could not find a site for the artist Rachelle Oatman, but you can see lots of her art here She combines her love for art, fashion and animals to create these almost whimsical pieces.

Food week: Healthy human food

It's all about food this week - for cats, for humans and (on Friday) for dogs .

Cardigan is the name of this company and it's the vision of  Kate Jenkins whose background is in fashion, but has added these pieces to her collection. Her work has been exhibited to wide acclaim at art fairs in the UK and the USA. Fish and chips or a beautiful roast chicken dinner. How many veggies can you spot on that plate?

Okay, so they're really made of cotton and felt, but all filled with pesticide free catnip! So they really are the healthy choice for your cat. Order your kitties a take out from yes please burger, safe in the knowledge that they have been cat-tested and approved!

Now, if by chance your cat has less of an appetite, go for the bacon and eggs by K grant Designs or turkey drumsticks washed down by a nice cuppa tea by oh boy cat toy
