Cats

I have been so excited about posting...

these supremely cute cat caves that are created in felt and come from Dornroeschen Filzunikate. They are available in two sizes and are washable too! Is there a cat out there that wouldn't want to snooze an afternoon in this? Actually there probably is, (most cats don't give a toot) but for their owners - well it's a must!

Oh yes, I can just picture the kitty that would look perfect in this one and then there's this..

like a comfy pair of slippers, or this..

Visit her shop and choose, you know you want to!

Don't leave until you've seen these little fellows

On the subject of cute, I saw these on one of my favourite blogs, Weebirdy, they are from a UK store in East London called Cat in the Shoe. So what if  they have nothing to do with cats, or dogs for that matter but just wanted to post them because they are amazing and I want them!...

There, I bet you're smiling!

Animals in your tableware

Now here's something you don't see every day...

Animal Series is the first project by the Lem group. The pieces have been created to tell stories in everyday ceramic tableware through animals. Maybe the bunnies and the frog are a little disturbing, but do get you thinking about the story behind the piece. I wonder if they'll bring out a set for vegetarians?

Dog art

I was visiting Dream Dogs art the other day and was drawn to these dog paintings by Korean artist A-young Lee. It's hard to work out from her website what inspires her (even with the google translation), but I find her paintings quite charming without being overly twee. It almost feels like you could reach out and pet the dogs- and could imagine the stunning effect these would produce on a huge blank wall.
