Pet beds

It's so hard to choose a new bed for your pet . Should you be influenced by design? Or should you focus on comfort? I have found a bewildering selection to choose from, but these shown below from puuttypower are so fancy pants, they look like every best dressed pet should have one to stretch out on.

I just couldn't resist a few more giggles at the great photographs from the Glamourpuss book. I actually think these cats enjoy playing humans - who knows what they do when we're not watching?

Chocolate heaven...yep, these pieces are actually made of chocolate! They are so attractive, so yummy looking and way too perfect to be eaten. I feel like I would have to exhibit them somehow before I could smash them up and eat them, but wait, shouldn't I give them as gifts maybe? They are from a company called Rococo chocolates, - love the name too!

Whilst I am on the subject of bunnies (and birds) or at least posting pics of them, I want to show these creations by London artist Russell Loughlan. He employs illustrations, old postcards and stamps which he cleverly displays in recycled frames. I love the English wit with a measure of the ridiculous.

Armani style

We visited another great cat show this weekend, checking out what's happening in the pet world. Our friend Susan was there raising money to fight a nasty cat disease known as FIP - you can find out more about it here. The show hosted some fabulous felines and congratulations to Sue on having several prizes awarded to her cats!
One cat really made an impression, meet 'Armani' from Sir purrs - this is one laid back cat.. He absolutely played to the photo shoot he caused. What a character, he loved the attention and was perfectly dismissive of his audience in a way that only cats know how.
