The spiders have ignored repeated warnings and instructions to leave. A fly in the kitchen has repeatedly buzzed Milly while she has been trying to eat her dental biscuits. There has been a tension in the house that has now resulted in a declaration of all out war from the local cat council.
Poppet is taking no chances with the garden spider who lives beneath the barbeque - he will be crushed and his webs will be no more. The other cats in the neighbourhood have enlisted to help.There will be no sanctury in the grooves of the patio doors and no chance to escape to store room.
Death to everything with more than four legs!
Milly will no longer suffer the indignity of the 'high fly' out of reach in the skylight. "He can fly, but now he can't hide" she purred as she climbed into her new toy. "I ate your brother and you're next". (I think that's what she said to him). Blanket squadron is ready to go.
We are prepared for a long and arduous campaign. Enough is enough, some of us are just making it by on only 22 hours sleep a day - war is hell
